Eco Art

Hello there, I know  its been more than 2 weeks since my last post...but here is a fresh one, its about another exhibition we had at school in the Unirii Square, Timisoara. It was in 2010 end of March beginning of April, don't know the date exactly anymore, sorry. Anyway the exhibition had an eco theme, and we all had to make artworks out of different recycled objects, I made a dress out of beer corks, many of them, over 100, didn't really count them. It's a very heavy dress, not really wearable, just for the really courages ones :P! The whole exhibition was really nice, with all the other very original works of my faculty mates. Hope you'll find it interesting!

Remembering a school exhibition...

Beginning of May 2011, during the last semester of my Art MA, we had a little exhibition in the Unirii Square, Timisoara. I never understood what our exact theme supposed to be, so I guess everyone that participated created something of their own, something that would really relate to their creative style. I did the same, I made a circle composition combined with stripes, disposed on three pieces of material (banners). The colours I have used are green, gold and white, which I combined in a way to balance my work. The exhibition was opened for a few days, I think it was in a weekend. Anyway, its good I took the pictures right after we finished setting up the exhibition, because the next days were rainy days, I didnt even go to check after if my works were still alive :P. Well, hope you enjoy!

I still can't believe im the no. 1 winner...

 Hello, sorry its been long since my last post, i'll get to the details of that one later, but I'd like to share with you my big happiness, that im the winner of this competition Fashion ARt 2011, to which I subscribed in March and never thought I could actually become the first price winner of it. It was a fashion illustration contest and my big price is a scholarship for the fashion illustrator course at Fashion Ground Academy - Italy.

Next year I'll be in Italy, yepeeeeee!!!!:D

P.S. My correct name is LATCU not LACTU, but well the guys that wrote it on the poster got it a bit wrong, but its ok.
